Yep, it has been over a month since my last post. It's shocking. Every time we would come home from doing something, I would have my post written out in my head. But then, my brain is full of random thoughts, to do lists, things I don't want to do, but must lists, schedules, friends to call, places to take children to, honey do lists (the biggest list of all). The next thing you know the blog post has gone to "someday" I'll get that done list...yep, really.
So, again, an unorganized of "things we have done lately" is what I am writing about. Luke was in school forever this year. I mean really, the last day of school was JULY 2nd. And, yes, I had summer break fever on behalf of him. He was checked out of school to go swimming twice, lu
nch, and whatever other reason I could think of.
Luke has started horsemanship with the 4H club this year. He had a rocky start at h
is first show, and we could not get him to do any of the speed events (poles, barrels, and keyhole). Today was his second show. He commited to all 6 events, 3 of them judged and 3 speed events. He did an amazing job. Let me just put a huge shout out to his Aunt Brenda and cousin
Val who have worked with him a lot to get him ready. We told him we didn't really care what ribbon or what his time was, just that he did it. He did, and he had a huge smile on his face at the end. 
All of us were there to witness it, I have a sunburn and a cranky baby to prove it.
Yes, I know the person running the camera could use a little help. But, let's not make him feel bad.
Not to mention, the boys finished baseball season (thankfully, it makes for a really busy 3 months!).
The boys have seen pretty much every movie. I've figured out the best system, Levi takes the boys to some action movie...aka, "A-Team", "Iron Man 2". I choose the time, that way Levi doesn't have to worry about it. So what if it happens to be Annie's nap time and end up with 2-3 hours to myself and a quiet house. I'm just thinking of the boys. They need to spend some time with there Dad. We did see Toy Story 3 together. Annie did amazing, the boys were on the edge of their seats, and I sobbed like a baby. Oh yeah, good times.
Then of course there is Annie, she is getting so big, I mean 5 months already! Seriously!!! She rolls over and smiles like she is all that and a bag of chips. Yep, she knows where she fits in. She has blue eyes with to die for eyelashes, and yes, she knows how to use them. Seen here enjoying her bumbo chair, the best invention ever.
